<p>This week on “The Flavors of the Valley”, KFSR&#8217;s Dr. Klaus Tenbergen talks to Sarah M. Schuster, MPH; Dietetic Intern at California State University, Fresno; about her journey at Fresno State and the newest trends in the food industry for 2012. Listen to Miss Schuster as she explains how dietitians supervise the preparation and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foodservice">service of food</a>, develop modified <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diet_%28nutrition%29">diets</a>, participate in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research">research</a>, and educate individuals and groups on good nutritional habits. Miss Schuster will discuss the goals of dietitians, which is to provide medical nutritional intervention, and to obtain, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_safety">safely prepare</a>, serve and advise on flavorsome, attractive, and nutritious food for patients, groups and communities.</p>
