Irene Gonzalez-Velez is a native of Seville, Spain, but attended school and lived in Fresno, California growing up. She is a junior at Fresno State working on Bachelors in International Business. She hopes to go back to Spain when she has completed her degree. A 90s kid to the core her first album was Britney Spears “Baby One More Time.” “I still know all the words,” she claims, but now her musical taste has progressed to include everything from Billie Holiday to The Beatles, To The Avett Brothers.
Irene not only studies at Fresno State but also works on campus as a clerical assistant for the University Outreach department. When she isn’t on campus working or studying, she enjoys watching movies and staying current on film news, and writing as much as possible.
