Kent Stratford, aka “The Jazz Doctor,” has been hosting jazz programming on public radio stations for over 20 years. His mellifluous voice is well known to jazz afficionados throughout Central California. “The Jazz Doctor” can be heard on KFCF 88.1 fm on the first and third Saturday between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM hosting “The Soul Kitchen,” a roots and R&B program. Kent Stratford is an adjunct faculty member at California State University Fresno and teaches in the Departments of Psychology, Child & Family Studies, and Counseling and Special Education. He was voted lecturer of the year for 2004/2005, 2005/2006 & 2008/2009 by the Psychology Students Honors Society: Psi Chi.
